ATV | A Tree Viewer

Overview

ATV is a Java tool based on the FORESTER libaries for the visualization of annotated phylogenetic trees. It can be used both as an applet and as a standalone application. It requires Java version 1.6 or higher.

Usage

Windows

Clicking on the "forester.jar" file should start it, the configuration file ("_atv_configuration_file") will be used if it is in the same directory as the jar file.

Unix, Linux, Windows

command line (without use of a configuration file or "_atv_configuration_file" is in the same direcotory as the jar file):
java -cp path/to/forester.jar org.forester.atv.ATV

command line (using a configuration file anywhere in the file system):
java -cp path/to/forester.jar org.forester.atv.ATV -c path/to/_atv_configuration_file
